Dr. Reneesha Singh MD (UNSW), FRACGP
Dr Reneesha Singh is a vocationally registered General Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), with extensive experience working across Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. Having practiced in metropolitan, rural and remote communities, she has developed a broad understanding of the diverse healthcare needs of Australian families and is committed to providing warm, compassionate, evidence-based care.
Dr Singh enjoys all aspects of general practice and believes in building long-term relationships with her patients through open communication, preventative healthcare and shared decision-making. She is known as a good listener, with a gentle, patient-centred approach, and works closely with specialists and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care, particularly for patients with complex or ongoing health needs.
Before entering general practice, Dr Singh gained valuable hospital experience in emergency medicine, psychiatry, general surgery and gastroenterology. She has also enjoyed supervising GP registrars and medical students, reflecting her commitment to education and mentoring the next generation of doctors.
Her clinical interests include:
- Women’s health, including Implanon insertion and removal and endometriosis
- Mental health assessment and ongoing management
- Chronic disease management and preventative health
- Palliative care and supportive care planning
- Minor procedures, including ear microsuction, skin lesion excisions, wound care, plaster care and iron infusions
- Emergency medicine and acute care
Dr Singh also speaks Malay, helping her provide culturally sensitive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
