Protect Yourself and Your Family from Measles – Willowglen Can Help

Since 10 November 2025, Queensland has seen several confirmed cases of measles. At Willowglen Medical, we’re here to help you stay protected with safe, funded vaccinations available for eligible patients.

Who should get vaccinated? If you were born in or after 1966 and don’t have documented proof of receiving two doses of a measles-containing vaccine (MMR/MMRV), you’re eligible—and it’s safe to repeat the doses if unsure.

 Vaccines are also recommended for:

  • Children at 12 and 18 months as part of their routine immunisation
  • Infants aged 6–11 months who are travelling to areas with measles outbreaks
  • Adults born between 1966 and the mid-1990s who may have missed the two-dose schedule introduced in 1992

No need for blood tests before or after vaccination—just book in and we’ll guide you through it.

Willowglen Medical is an approved immunisation provider. We offer funded measles vaccines under the National Immunisation Program and Queensland Health initiatives.

Call us or book online to check your eligibility and get vaccinated. Let’s keep our community safe, together.
